This shot of Angel’s Landing from the north rim of the Grand Canyon National Park near sunset would be a good entry in this month’s Amateur Traveler photo contest on “sense of scale” (http://facebook.com/amateurtraveler). I like that in the bigger version of this picture you can now make out the tiny people on this lookout area on the north rim of the Grand Canyon. The north rim of the park gets a lot few people than the south rim. It also closes in the winter so plan accordingly.
