Ski holidays the Euro can’t spoil

For the past few years, Bulgaria has topped the cheap skiing chart. The main resorts are Bansko, a quickly growing town with modern ski infrastructure, and Borovets, which is popular for its nightlife. The resorts are Brit-heavy and traditional Bulgarian culture is rapidly disappearing, but if cheap and cheerful is what you’re after you can’t go wrong.
